Prof. Prakash Vish
Globally recognised food scientist with a distinguished career across industry and academia. He served as Distinguished Scientist of CSIR-India, Honorary President of IUFoST until 2022, and Honorary Vice-President of IUNS until 2022. He has received India’s highest scientific award, one of the country’s high civilian honours, and 73 international awards, including the IUFoST Lifetime Achievement Award. He is the author of 25 books, 231 research papers and 55 patents, has supervised 25 PhD students, and has delivered over 1,000 chief guest, inaugural, convocation, memorial and special lectures over more than half a century.
